February 9, 2017

Check out the CCIF2017 Storify feed

CCIF 2017 Toronto breaks attendance records with over 700 registrations, with a third of the registrants being first-time CCIF attendees.

Patrice Marcil delivered another enlightening presentation on the Collision Industry-Education project. Patrice moderated a panel discussion with auto body program managers/instructors from colleges across the country that highlighted the challenges faced by the colleges with both budgets and growing costs, dated equipment and staying current on the rapid technological advancements of vehicle repairs.

Andrew Shepherd noted that over 500 shops will become I-CAR Canada Gold Class recognized in 2017. He also outlined ways in which I-CAR could further support the education and training initiatives proposed by CCIF.

The afternoon panel discussion reinforced the need for pre and post scanning and the need for accurate and complete documentation of the scanning process.
