by Steve Trapp, Axalta Coating Systems
This workshop is an overview of how to optimize gross profit on a “Drive for 45% gross profit.” We will spend some time reviewing weighted gross profit and the key drivers of sales mix and per department gross profit. We will highlight the key moments of truth to drive the results. We will then delve into how to drive sales mix and optimal sales performance to include discussion on things like repairing plastics. We will also review the drivers of costs and their impact on profitability. Finally, we will review the pre-closing and closing review of the process.
